An Up-and-Coming "Laboratory" Pioneering New Ways to Enjoy Japanese Tea
Maximizing the value of Japanese tea through blending and roasting, they propose new ways to enjoy it. You are sure to encounter a new worldview of Japanese tea born from the "craftsmanship" of owner Shinya Sakurai. This January, "SOUEN," a Japanese tea cafe where you can casually enjoy tea for takeout, opened in front of Shoin Shrine in Setagaya. With blends they have researched for many years as the theme, they offer seasonal blended teas (from ¥726) and cocktails combining tea and alcohol.
