Founded in Kyoto in 1875 (Meiji 8) as a pioneer of round can manufacturing using tinplate imported from the UK. Since then, it has consistently maintained the method from the first generation through handmade craftsmanship, and last year it celebrated its 150th anniversary. Tea caddies, handmade one by one through over 130 processes, are simple yet practical and beautiful. Their precise functions and high airtightness are utilized for various purposes, including pasta cans, snuggling up to modern life.
