“Cafe&Tea Salon” Award
A Sacred Place Since the Edo Period Where the Highest Peak of Fruits Gather from Home and Abroad
It began in the late Edo period when the founder, Benzo Oshima, who lived in Senbiki Village, Saitama County, Musashi Province (now Koshigaya City, Saitama Prefecture), started selling peaches and oriental melons in Ningyocho, Nihombashi. As Japan's first fruit specialty store, it has protected its noren (store curtain) for 191 years and boasts unmatched "trust." The fruit parlor, where you can taste the highest-grade fruits selected from all over the world, has its roots in the "Fruit Dining Hall" established in the Meiji period. Even today, you can enjoy a variety of sweets that fuse superb fruits with traditional techniques.
