CONFECTIONERY
A Traditional Cookie Tin Filled with Artisan Spirit
A Western confectionery shop established in 1907 in Teramachi Nijo, Kyoto. The Western-style building, retaining the atmosphere of the Meiji and Taisho eras, is a masterpiece of luxurious architecture, with a wooden Western-style front and a traditional Japanese back. The carefully handcrafted cookies correspond to the needs of the time while cherishing tradition. "Craftsmanship" is passed down through generations. "Koujifukuro," a sweet passed down from the late Taisho era, also fascinates many fans, including the author Shotaro Ikenami.
