Experiencing Japanese Hospitality Aboard the Airbus A350-1000

The Airbus A350-1000, JAL's international flagship aircraft introduced in 2024. Its First and Business Class cabins carry the sense of "ma" — space, interval, and atmosphere — akin to Japanese architecture. Though every seat is a private suite, the design maintains continuity of light and air, evoking a Japanese sense of boundary reminiscent of shoji screens. Seasonal sensitivity also pervades the in-flight meals, including Japanese cuisine and vegan options. Supporting these experiences is an unwavering spirit of omotenashi hospitality. This is not mere politeness — it is the composure to calmly protect safety even in an emergency.
