“STAY” Award

Onyado Fukuchiyo

The main residence of "Onyado Fukuchiyo." You'll want to spend a special time in a good old Japanese house. There is also an open-air bath, and a detached residence a 10-minute walk away.

Japan's First Auberge Directly Managed by a Sake Brewery

Onyado Fukuchiyo is an inn limited to one group per day, created by renovating a historic building. It was born in 2021 out of a desire to protect the townscape of Hizen Hamashuku, a national Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. Japanese cuisine tasted with an all-pairing of "Nabeshima," including limited sake, is only possible because it is a stayable restaurant run by a sake brewery. Tasting the atmosphere of sake brewing in a usually closed sake brewery is also unique to this place. You'll want to savor a one-and-only luxurious time while relaxing in this "rented whole building" inn.
