1. The Simose Art Museum, recognized by UNESCO in 2024 as one of the "Most Beautiful Museums in the World." There are 8 movable exhibition rooms using buoyancy utilizing shipbuilding technology. 2. One of the 5 "Kielsteg House" villas. 3. The "Paper House" villa. 110 "paper tubes," which symbolize Ban's architecture, are arranged in an S-shape.

An All-Suite Auberge to Experience Shigeru Ban's Architecture, Art, and Nature

An all-suite auberge consisting of the Simose Art Museum, a restaurant, and 10 villas, designed by architect Shigeru Ban. The north side of the site overlooking the Seto Inland Sea features "Waterfront Villas" facing a water basin, while the south side features "Forest Villas" surrounded by trees. In the center stands a French restaurant utilizing local ingredients and the art museum. The restaurant is also available to non-staying guests. Many guests enjoy the museum and lunch before or after sightseeing in Miyajima.
