“TEA” Award
A Specialty Store "Preserving Just Tea" Since the End of the Edo Period
Its roots trace back to "Omiya," opened by an Omi merchant in 1717. Currently, it primarily handles tea leaves cultivated on the borders of Kyoto, Nara, and Shiga prefectures. Tea leaves grown enveloped in river mist in mountainous areas with severe temperature differences between morning and night are characterized by their high aroma and graceful umami. With about 30 varieties including Matcha, Gyokuro, Sencha, and Bancha, it is a brand of "trust" that supports a life with tea.
