Broadcasting the Tradition and Culture of Ginza to the World
WAKO, a landmark of Ginza established in 1947. Lined with jewelry and bags selected by an aesthetic eye cultivated over many years from numerous brands, it conveys the essence of ancient Japanese aesthetics, culture, and richness that WAKO has long cherished. Furthermore, last year, the basement floor of the main store was renewed, with the spatial design handled by the "New Material Research Laboratory," an architectural design office led by Hiroshi Sugimoto and Tomoyuki Sakakida. Under the concept of a "Stage of Time," it has become a center for broadcasting culture and a place of interaction where tradition and innovation resonate. As a new famous spot in Ginza, it will serve as a place to broadcast the new luxury unique to Japan to the world.
