Simple, Modern, New Arita Ware with Mastered Design
1616/arita japan was launched by Momota Touen in 2012 as a new ceramic brand with designer Teruhiro Yanagihara as the creative director. While following tradition, it pursues a simple and modern design, proposing authentic Arita ware with an unprecedented new approach. The first concept book for 1616/arita japan, released last year, won a silver award at the "Best Book Design from all over the World 2024."
