Tasting the Beauty of a Masterpiece Architecture Filled with Playfulness and Luxury

The predecessor of this inn, built in Senbon Matsubara, a scenic spot in Numazu, was "Shoantei," built by a person of refined taste in the Taisho era. In front of the accommodation building expanded in 2008 is a water basin where Mt. Fuji's subsoil water gushes out, and the scenery reflected on the water surface delights the eyes. In 2023, launched as a project to pass on Numazu's proud cultural properties to the next generation, the Tangible Cultural Property tea pavilion was renewed into a modern Chinese restaurant. The suite rooms were also completely renovated. The accommodation building, beautiful with its rammed earth walls and Yoshino cedar roof, was designed by Akira Watanabe, known for works such as "W-HOUSE." There are 8 guest rooms.
