1616/arita japan was launched by Momota-Touen in 2012 as a new ceramic brand with designer Teruhiro Yanagihara as the creative director. While following tradition, it pursues simple and modern designs, proposing Arita ware with a sense of authenticity through an unprecedented new approach.
