A Wealthy Merchant's Inn Reconstructing the Tradition of Ryokan

This inn, located along the Shimanami Kaido in the Seto Inland Sea, is a ryokan (Japanese inn) reconstructed from a new perspective while respecting the traditions rooted in the land. Inside the building, which inherited the mansion of the wealthy merchant Horiuchi family, who once prospered in the salt manufacturing and shipping industries, and superimposed the philosophy of Sukiya architecture, you can feel the history and culture of the land with all five senses. Activities such as cycling tours, lemon picking, Onomichi walking tours, and sunset cruises can also be arranged. You want to fully enjoy the charm of the island.
