A Venerable Inn Fulfilled by Famous Hot Springs and Gastronomy

Nagato Yumoto Onsen is the oldest hot spring in Yamaguchi Prefecture, said to have been discovered about 600 years ago by Zen Master Teian of Dainei-ji Temple through an oracle from Sumiyoshi Daimyojin. "Otani Sanso" is a famous inn founded in 1881, standing on the banks of the Otozure River flowing through its center. After a renewal in 2023, there are a total of 98 rooms with different tastes, including suites with guest room open-air baths and private saunas. It constantly attracts many repeaters with a variety of culinary delights, from kaiseki to teppanyaki, that you won't get tired of even if you stay for consecutive nights.
