Sori Yanagi's Masterpiece Chair Reissued with Outstanding Technology

Hida Sangyo reissued the "Yanagi Chair" in 2007, which was designed by Sori Yanagi, a leading Japanese industrial designer, and announced in 1972. From the backrest to the armrests, it uses the highly difficult "Ippon Magewaki" (single bentwood), completed through advanced bentwood technology. In addition, by utilizing techniques unique to Hida Sangyo, such as seat boards carefully turned one by one by craftsmen using hand lathes, they completed the "Yanagi Chair" without breaking the original form.
