Redefining Values: Bringing Modern "Beauty" to Traditional "Beauty"

The simple and modern-looking vessels created by Toru Horiguchi, the 3rd generation Shuseki, who adds modern elements to the traditional Edo Kiriko that has continued for about 190 years, are highly evaluated overseas. He challenges innovation while protecting the essence of Edo Kiriko, which is "to surprise and fascinate the user." The beauty of the Mikomi (inside bottom) is also excellent.
