An Inn to Know True Luxury by Savoring and Cherishing Nature

Miyamasou, nestled in the village of Hanase deep in Kyoto, was founded in 1895. It began as a shukubo (temple lodging) for Daihizan Bujoji Temple, and the third-generation head, Yoshitsugu Nakahigashi, turned it into "Culinary Inn Miyamasou" in 1937. The tsumikusa (picked herbs) cuisine that cherishes the nature of Hanase is profound and powerful, permeating the body and mind. Currently, the fourth-generation head, Hisato Nakahigashi, enters the mountains to pick herbs and provide meals. You can connect your heart with the nature of Hanase and listen to the sound of the Katsura River.
