Modern Shoji Paper Born from High Papermaking Technology

Founded in 1868 in Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan's top production area for shoji paper. They have also announced innovative products such as the industry's first color shoji paper and "ito-washi," which sandwiches thread between Japanese paper. "Ito Rakusui," developed to suit modern lifestyles, is a glass sheet made solely of washi and thread, which can be called the crystallization of papermaking technology. It is a modern shoji that can be easily applied with water.
